Big button front and side zip, with tiny shoulder pads and a tie waist for an easy fit. A “Seamstress of Bloomsbury” Original, Simply the best quality fabric, attention to detail and authentic Lilian Wells design. Lilian was the original “Seamstress of Bloomsbury”.. She made beautiful items of clothing throughout the 1930s, 40s & Early 50s for London’s aristocracy, battling the Blitz & circumstances that we cant even begin to imagine, but never compromising on her quality or delightful craftsmanship.. She was a very private but wonderful woman and an inspiration to us all. Through this wonderful range of 1940s clothing we aim to continue her legacy..
